Job Title: Project Manager – Construction & Building Services
Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-Site as Required)

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, experienced Project Manager to oversee 5–10 concurrent building and construction projects per week. This is a hybrid role requiring both remote management and on-site presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of domestic construction, excellent client communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential and light commercial building projects from planning to completion
- Liaise with clients, builders, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clarity and accountability
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Monitor construction progress and ensure work aligns with contract specifications and quality standards
- Coordinate and approve milestone-based payments, ensuring fair value for completed work
- Proactively identify risks or delays and take corrective action
- Produce regular progress reports and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Handle site inspections, snagging lists, and final handovers
- Support dispute resolution and provide mediation where necessary
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in project management within the construction or building services sector
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, ideally managing multiple concurrent projects
- Strong working knowledge of building regulations and construction practices in the UK
- Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 6+, or degree preferred)
- CSCS certification (Site Management or Professional) desirable
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in project management software (e.g. Trello, Buildertrend, Asana, or MS Project)

Working Conditions

- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required to meet client deadlines or attend emergency site visits
